the logistics

  • We collect you from selected hotels in Melbourne city & Southbank around 7am, or St Kilda from 6:30am & Geelong on the way through later.

    See our google map for your closest meeting point, it also shows the SET TIME for each hotel location.

    The map is useful for directions (trams are free in the central city).

    We drop you back to the same place when we return to the city to commence hotel drops the quickest way.

    These locations are chosen for ease in traffic to give more exploring time.

    Group bookings of 8+ can have their actual hotel in the CBD if its feasible.

  • In the morning we give you juice & traditional Anzac biscuits to teach Australian history (for gluten or dairy-free guests we have an alternative),

    all other food & drinks is at your choice & cost to enjoy it your way at the locations we visit for various tastes, dietaries & your travel budgets,

    we make thoughtful stops for refreshments & lunch to give you a great selection. Please bring a refillable water bottle, we will point out the fountains.

  • Wear comfortable shoes as viewing National Park lookouts requires some walking around paths or decking.

    Layer your clothing for varying weather conditions as it can change - you may have heard the locals say ‘4 seasons in one day’?

    A light rain jacket with hood is ideal to cover possibilities, or a heavy one in winter for warmth on the coast.

    Sunscreen, a hat & sunglasses in sunny weather.

    Don’t forget your bathing suit & towel if you’d like to take a quick dip in the sea :)

  • At the 12 Apostles you can take a 16 minute helicopter flight to make it really special, or celebrate an occasion perhaps!

    It must be pre-booked atleast 3 days in advance with us to avoid longer waiting in the line. You can decide early on the day to book (but may wait longer & miss some lookouts), however its not possible once you arrive to decide then.

    It’s operated by 12 Apostles Helicopters who have their own terms & conditions including refund policy of no changes or cancellations within 3 days. We accept no liability as agent.

    Their cost is $165 for all ages (no age restrictions).

    This time lessens your ground time viewing from lookouts but you get the awesome aerial perspective!

our group size is 24 max (a Coaster bus size not a coach) not too large to still be treated as an individual by name & not too small to be cramped-up, plus the higher bus seat gives you much better viewing over the top of shrubs along the Great Ocean Road side - another great reason to come with us & not try drive it yourself, hardly seeing much while you concentrate on road conditions… leave that to us professionals, relax & admire those views all the way!
