the razorback
at the loch ard gorge site
port campbell NATIONAL PARK, VICTORIA
journey the flat walk to reach the razorback
& view the ‘salt ‘n pepper shakers’ on the way
A beast of a view when raging seas swell, this long limestone stack stands strong against Mother Natures forces that crash into it & sends the fury into the basin behind to swirl into a melting pot.
It’s a 500 metre walk on a flat sealed path so will take about 5 minutes if you go slow & look for echidna near the path & wallabies in the bush on the way. The view from the lookout when you get there will definately reward your efforts.

A flat 5 minute walk each way is worth it to reach this majestic cliff area at the Loch Ard Gorge site, with a halfway lookout to the ‘salt ‘n pepper shaker’ stacks.
I guess they named it the Razorback because its a beast of limestone stack in front of a raging cliff cove that the wild Shipwreck Coast seas crash into?
